I exclude kids for a FULL 24 hours after they are fever free (without any OTC meds) but I exclude kids for a FULL 48 hours after they are fever free (without any OTC meds) so this DCK would now be excluded for 48 hours verse the standard 24 hours because the parent choose to make the wring choice.
The 24/48 hour rule puts the onus back onto the parent to make the right choice. 
There you go. She now has two days of no daycare that she has to work.
