I am sure that you are feeling bad about the whole thing, but that is why they are called ACCIDENTS....... You didn't mean for it to happen, no one did. As a parent, we know that our child WILL get hurt, just like they will get sick. The parents have insurance to cover these things. I would NOT offer to pay for it. NOW if you were at fault, like you left the child on the changing table, then yes I would say pay for it.......

Forgive yourself, you are not perfect, none of us are.......

I also 2nd getting some liability insurance......
