If it will make you feel any better, after a corporate downsizing 10 years ago, we lost my DH company insurance. We had to pick up the insurance on our own.
We now pay $765 a month for just the two of us! With DH going on medicare in November, it will only go down by $200 a month, (I'm 51, so many yrs before medicare)
