Thanks everyone. I was at the clinic with my husband this morning, so I talked to him about it. He said she should be excluded until she is without fever 24 hours and feels up to participating. That's what my illness policy says anyway.

I guess I'm mostly concerned about the part that said they can throw off infection for 4 weeks.

I'll just be double diligent with bleaching, lysol, and good old soap.
