I have a dcg that is probably the cutest little brat that ever walked on this earth. She is the one that climbs the bookcase, jumps off the top of the slide, stands in the center of the table, etc... We had a boy that was acting up in our care and when mom heard about this, made a point to tell us in front of him that "If he gets out of line, paddle his butt til it's blistered".
We never would have spanked regardless of the permission (the risk is too high), but talk about a change in behavior! Just knowing that mom said to whack him a good one was all it took!
