Josiegirl, thank you for posting this! The error was mine. I re-read my sister's text after seeing your reply and realized I might have misinterpreted what she had said. I double checked with her and sure enough...she took the Tylenol after getting the vaccine.

I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to mislead anyone. I went on to look it up and read a few articles - all saying what you said in your reply above: painkillers should be taken after the vaccine; not before. That and the stretching did help my sister with the minimal pain she felt afterwards.
