I can't really do scents, most make me itch and sneeze
The exception is Yankee Candle room freshener beads. Very light scent but they absorb the orders. I use it in the dc bathroom (out of reach of the kids of course) and it works nicely.
Open windows (even in winter), diapers go out immediately, garbage is changed nightly. We love to eat fish for dinner, so I feel your pain
