The amount of violent crime in my area is absurd!
If I didn't know better I would say you are either in the worst part of Baltimore I know ( lived there and got out)... either that or a part of PG county I won't go near either. It did take me running to a crisis shelter with my kids to get out... The shelter sent me out of county to start over.
MD is expensive to begin with compared to other states, so just going over the border to WV can allow you to care for up to 3 kids without a license. Sometimes you just got to downsize and keep your hopes up.
