I'm having trouble getting past the he's making you feel guilty part.
Is all your money and bills separate???
I can tell you it is probably A LOT cheaper for him to carry all 4 of you on his work insurance than it is for him to carry himself and the 2 kids and you pay for your own. I couldn't imagine my husband making me feel guilty for having to pay for the health insurance of our family.
