My first time posting in this section!
The family that I have been begging to take their kid to see an SLP finally had the appointment. The SLP reiterated EVERYTHING that I had been telling them and is not ruling out ASD (which is my suspicion as well). It was a long 6 months of discussing her issues over and over and fighting an uphill battle against family members and others who know nothing about child development...but am glad they finally went.
The first family who has ever taken my advice to go see an SLP and I am so grateful they went and the kid will get help.
