DCM lied to me! She called yesterday before her drop off time and said DCB (just turned 2) had a low grade fever (highest of 99.9 rectally, so not really a fever) all day Sunday and still wasn't up to par so she was keeping him home. He came today and she told me that she really thought it was just teeth/plus a busy birthday weekend. Dad picked up today and told me that he threw up ALLLLL DAY Sunday (after his birthday party Saturday) AND other DCG went to his party and ate like CRAP today and is already staying home tomorrow.
I just do NOT understand the lying. She was within my policy to return him to care today (24 hours fever and symptom free) and aside from being a bit blah he was acting and participating just fine.
