I would say if you have the space to do one whole wall of cabinets to do it. When we remodeled our garage I purchased cabinets from ikea, did one whole wall with cabinets with doors half way down the wall....then lower cabinets with a counter and no doors, I used the lower cabinets for daily toy storage.
