I hear ya! I just don't understand parents that require special food for their kids (re: allergy or special diet) who expect DCPs to accommodate. Like BC said, they need to do the work to be sure their child can fit into GROUP care. What your DCM sounds like she needs is a nanny.
We have food allergies/grain free diets but the big difference is that I pack appropriate and safe foods for us wherever we go. Never would I expect even family gatherings to accommodate us. Your DCM sounds egotistical for expecting those around her to accommodate her needs.
