Does anybody else allow therapists (speech, physical, occupational, behavioral, etc.) to come in and work with a child during the day?
We have one therapist that I am really not fond of.
She recently started with one of our children. She missed her first visit and called 40 minutes later to say she was running late. I told her she could not come due to our plans. She resecheduled for later that day. She was 10 minutes late the second time.
She arrived 26 minutes late today and my husband told her that he was sorry, but we were cleaning up and getting ready for Circle Time so she would have to reschedule. She tried to give him a big attitude.
WWYD? I told Mom that I am not fond of this therapist and if she is late once, she'll be late the entire time she is here. I refuse to arrange our schedule around her. She has several slots she fits into, but she insists on being late and missing her slots.
