Are you SURE there is no additional medical issues? One of my daycare kids has had huge struggles with not eating (to the point of almost failure-to-thrive) and has been diagnosed with low muscle tone which can cause swallowing issues. She can do purees easiest but for 2.5 years, meals have always been an issue.
