That is something I COULDN'T put in my handbook. We are NOT allowed to dictate to parents things like that. Families all have different bathing customs/traditions and NOT all cultures believe in bathing daily.

I personally feel it would be sort of intrusive and kind of outside the boundaries of what I have a right to be involved in and not be involved in....kwim?

I guess if it were me and a family smelled badly enough that it bothered ME, I would probably just say they weren't a good fit for my program and move along....

If it were something that recently started to happen and they weren't always that way, I MIGHT talk with the family about it depending on my relationship with them.
