I recently downsized. I have two special needs children and they just couldn't handle the overflow of five after-school-aged children that were here each afternoon getting off of the bus. I felt awful having to tell the parents, but it was just too much. It has been just over a month and it has been great, I do not regret my decision. I miss those children and they will always have a place in my heart. But I had to put my family first; my children fist.

EDIT: I didn't send a letter home, I talked privately with each parent. I explained the situation and reasons behind my decision. The parents understood and no grudges are held.
