I am talking about kids under two as well.
ALL mine are trained to use a regular cup around 12-15 months. The longest I had a kid use a lid was until he was 15 months old.
Everyone else catches on pretty quick and are lid free shortly after their 1st birthday.
I guess I look at 2 year olds as being a lot older than most people do.
