"The Texas mother found dead in her SUV with her two young daughters last week likely died of an overdose before the little girls subsequently perished due to heat stroke in the back of the vehicle.
Natalie Chambers, 31, was reported missing by family members to the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) late Wednesday afternoon after she and her two daughters, 4-year-old Izabel and 2-year-old Elise, never arrived at a scheduled playdate earlier in the day.
On Thursday, police tragically discovered all three dead in an SUV parked in a furniture store parking lot in Farmer’s Branch, about an hour’s drive from Forney where the family lived.
According to law officials and family members, the young mother, who had a history or drug and alcohol abuse and recent bouts of depression, likely died of an overdose. Her two young daughters likely died as a result of heat stroke after being left in their car seats for more than 24 hours during sweltering July temperatures." -
