In case you didn't read my posts yesterday, here is the recap. DCD came yesterday angry, trying to make me change my potty training policy. I stood my ground and sent a letter home with DCM telling him that it wasn't acceptable.
First I want to say a big thank you to you all for helping me to grow a backbone. If this had happened before I found this forum, I likely would have just let it go. As it was, my stomach was churning all day.
This morning, they both came to drop off. We had a good discussion. DCD said he didn't realize that he was loud. And that he didn't mean to sound angry. He did say that DCM complains about the same thing. That he is "just gruff, with a low voice"
DCM apologized. (He didn't say "I'm sorry", but I get the feeling that he cam as close as he ever will...)
Anyway, it was a good calm discussion and all my concerns were addressed. I feel so much better for having stood up for myself.
