We now spend about $110-150 per week here for my own family of 5 plus 4 dc kids. I am on the food program but only qualify for the lower tier so it's not much at all - but still better than nothing. I am always looking for ways to cut food costs though. I found a free ebook on the internet called How to Feed a Family of 4 or more for Less Than $200 a Month. I can't find it now but the author was Liss Burnell if you want to google it. There are some great suggestions and tips. Some of them weren't practical for my situation 9like buying a side of beef) but most of the stuff was informative and helped me cut my grocery bill.
