My SA dcg (9) is here from 6-6 m-f. She complains 24/7. It drives me nuts. "I don't want to go for a walk today, I want to watch a movie. I hate playing outside. Can we go to the playground? (at playground she whines that it's hot and sits) Can you put netflix on for me? Can you get your laptop out so I can use it? Can I go play xbox in (ds's) room? I need a banging my head against the wall smiley. 
Sounds like she is mostly entertained at home with electronics and is going through withdrawls while at your house.
....just a thought, but have you tried rewarding her for going so many hours or dys WITHOUT complaining? Nothing worse than listening to a kid who believes she/he is bored and whines about it all day....
