It's picture day at school so all the school age and pre-k kids are dressed up and spit & polished. My own DD hates dressing up. She's hacked that Mommy (I'm totally throwing DW under the bus on this one) put her in dress pants, a cute top, and a vest. DCM walked in as she was griping about looking like a "dork" and tried to cheer DD up by saying "You look like a princess." DD turned, scowled, and said "I'm. No. Princess!" Amazing the venom that can come out of an indignant 11 year old.
