(subject change) I take DCG and brush back her hair as Gmom is telling me about something else and see the bruise and said, "OMG what happened? She got that from hitting your chin!?" "No. She fell out the screen door....."

Just the whole convo told me she wasn't going to tell me. The brushing it off. The changing of the subject. But you can't hide THAT!
