I am not pro abortion, but I also can't imagine going back to a time when women died from illegal abortions. The idea that a doctor and a patient couldn't make a that decision together. That my sister (an OB) could be forced with the choice of breaking the law or saving a woman's life...
I cannot see anyone reasonably taking away abortion if the woman's life is in danger
I WOULD like to see partial birth abortion banned for ANY reason. At the point a child is viable outside the womb, just have a c-section or induce labor if the mother's life is at risk.
