They look the same, but are actually one size different. Not a problem for the guy with the smaller feet, but the guy with the bigger feet does NOT like having the small shoes on his feet.
I really, really, really hate tie shoes on toddlers anyway.
I just have to say when my toddler twins started walking, their feet were so small there was only one pair of shoes that fit them (they were also one size apart) so I had to buy the same shoes. I wrote their initials inside the tongue, on the back of the heel, and in a few other places. They were velcro though. Why don't you suggest she get a spare set of shoelaces and lace them in different colors so you know whose are whose.
