I hope it is nothing serious......I had a friend in college who had a dd that ran a fever on and off for about 6 weeks and the doctors could never figure out the problem...they finally did a white blood cell count and saw her counts were off the charts.
It turned out she had leukemia.
She is thankfully okay (she is 22 yrs old now) but the whole ordeal was horrible and sad. The prolonged fevers were the only symptom the parents noticed.
