It drives me nuts to see 3.5 to 4 year olds who can’t put on their coats, wipe their own noses, or use forks and spoons. What makes it worse is that some of these kiddos are the ones that can recite the entire alphabet, know all their shapes and colors, print their own name and name all the dinosaurs. Yes, teaching your children these things is fine but how about teaching them basic self help skills first.
