I offer 50% off of a week for a referral that I sign decide to take. I have had several referrals from parents that had friends who worked 2nd shift and weekends, which I didn't want to take. So... I guess what I'm saying is that I would show my appreciation to the family who is giving you referrals with maybe a small gift, or gift card but not a full free week, based on the fact that they weren't a good fit for you and you didn't sign them.
