So sorry you are going through this right now.
I'll be praying for you and your family. Try to focus on what is important right now, your mom, and try to ignore the selfishness of your dcp's. Some people just cannot, or refuse to, look beyond themselves. I would take that vacation time right now and be with your mom and take care of yourself.
