It sounds like you do not trust the mom and that you feel mom does not trust you... after 8 months this is a bad spot to be in and I would look to replace them.

If I cared for infants I would likely provide everything except formula / breastmilk and charge parents a bit more to make that work financially. I have found there are certain baby wipes that I like to use, certain brands of diapers, etc. it also makes drop off and pick up easier to have less time the parents "need" to be adding things or checking cubbies.

I have 2-5 year olds in my program and other than their lunch box no outside items are allowed. If their child is still in pull ups then they can provide a large package of pull ups as needed in their cubby.
