I open second shift because I worked second shift for years and it was tough finding childcare. I just want to cater to parents that work or go to school these hours. Didn't think it meant desperate. Thanks.
I wanted to have an advantage. Most daycares in this area don't offer these hours. When I put the word out about opening a daycare, this was the most common complaint.
My mother was in childcare for 25 years and the first 5, she was open 24 hours.
