If I am open, payment is due. My families all have contracted days...most are m-f. I could care less if they come or not, they have to pay for their contracted days. I could never not know what I had coming in financially each week...that would be way too much of a strain on my family.

We live in very different areas, but I can't imagine only getting paid 180 a month! I charge 275 per week for full time care, and I am only open from 7:30-4:00 each day.

Maybe tell them there is a minimum payment required for a month - regardless of attendance. Can you switch to contracted hours/days so you will know who is coming and when? That way, even if they don't show up you know payment is due.

Sorry you are struggling - it can take a while to figure out how to make this all work!
