I would take the job if offered it. I would ask that your new job let you give the parents the two weeks notice, perhaps they would be willing to hold off training for a few days? Is there anyone that can watch the kids at your house for a few days?

Either way, I would not let this opportunity pass you by. Its best if you move onto something you do have a passion for versus staying in daycare and being miserable. Home daycare is not for everyone and there are too many people that stay in it long after they should have left. You are doing the right thing in finding something that works for your family. good luck!
