I too, see older kids walking around with pacifiers, sippy cups and/or bottles and I've done a few eye rolls but it never occurred to me that it's a reflection on their daycare provider. The parent maybe but I fail to see the connection between that type of thing and the quality of care they receive in child care.
Idk what it is about it, it's just a weird pet peeve of mine. I don't really know how to explain it. I'm definitely not saying that the provider doesn't provide care if they let an older child run around with a pacifier.
