How long do you give for term notices?
Depends on why I have to term. Sometimes it's immediate and other times I've given 2- weeks.

What does your contract say ?

Also I have the same problem over summer and basically started requiring parents to resign at the end of May for the summer and up coming school year otherwise I consider it their 30 day notice if they don't resign. Then at that time I fill the spot.

I don't close over summer and parents know it's a full expected scheduled. All year around.
