*Start with books
*The skeletons are great....but when we covered this topic, I took it apart, laid out full size Xrays and children matched the bones
*run, jump, climb, dance, whatever.....have the children feel their heart pounding....listen to it with a stethoscope...talk about how exercise keeps our heart healthy and strong, and the heart moves our blood to other parts of our bodies
*break sticks and allow children to use real cast materials to put them back together
*sing and act out "them crazy bones"
*place mirrors in your environment. When you see a child admiring themselves, talk to them about their hair, eyes, smile, teeth, etc.
*sing/play head, shoulders, knees and toes
*take photos of the children and display them.....chart the differences in hair color, eye color, etc.
*put up a growth chart...measure them now and again in a month, compare the differences
*Place a scale in the room, weigh them, chart it, repeat in a month
