every Wednesday one of my dcd's is off of work. I still have dcb and dcg (sa) during the school year at 6am-6pm. UNTIL summer, then every other Wednesday dcg gets to stay home with dcd. NOT dcb (why not dcb the opposite wednesday to give him some 1:1 with Dad) Today at breakfast dcb told all of his friends "My Daddy is commin to get me and take me and sissy to the playground!" I didn't say anything, knowing that was not happening. He cried at lunch when he realized Dad was never coming. I talked to Mom about it at pick up and she LAUGHED! I was ticked! Obviously your son is old enough to overhear and understand conversations and just assumed that he was included in dcd's and dcg's fun plans.
