Just my two cents here- this seems like a lot of pressure for you, and you say you haven't had any formal training (paraphrasing). Everyone is giving you great suggestions, but is it going to be enough for the parents? What happens if he doesn't pass the test? Sounds like they should get a tutor. All you can do is your best.
