I have walk through baby gates and/or half doors in every single door way of the house but I leave them all open all the time...not a single kid will cross the thresh hold until invited to do so....even my youngest (just over a yr old).

I've actually watched this video before... none of my other kids even try the gates. Even the nine month is starting to understand. This particular kid is giving me a run for my money though... she's sneaky, super sneaky. The moment you are busy with another kid she is gone. If I catch her in the act she will walk away nonchalantly. It's not just with the gates, she's an angel as long as you have eyes on her.
