I have fairly good luck on Craigslist. I also handed out flyers in my neighborhood, not in mailboxes but in the doors. However, my current neighborhood does not allow that. I never put the address, just that it was a local daycare and gave very general info and an email address for inquiries. I also am going to have some quality signs made to post on street corners and see how that goes. I agree though, I am seeing SOOOO many SAHMs taking 1 or 2 kids that the choices for cheap daycare have skyrocketed. The norm is 125-150 per week in this area for in-homes and some SAHMs go as cheap as 90 a week, all inclusive. There is no way I can compete with that.
