My 20 month old has become quite the hitter and puller
I of course hadn't thought of the shadow thing (which I have done with lots of other kids) because she is mine and therefore my brain stopped working
Looks like my little monkey will be my shadow soon.
With kids I have done with this in the past - outside I would just follow them. If I needed to go somewhere, I just hold their hand and lead them.
