Yuck.

Well, she sounds like a very ignorant parent to me. The PB&J (and all the processed foods) is just awful. Also, the fact that she thinks battery operated toys teach, is a JOKE. Most parents want to limit the battery opperated toys their kids play with. I feel for you here.

Honestly, you are going to have to approach her with a "if you don't like it, there is the door" approach. Parents like her will walk all over you.
