Can't afford child care BUT can afford to be a 42 year old college student!??! Lol!

I became close friends with one of my dcm- she has been talking about having her 10 year old stay home alone to help "cut costs" it is driving me crazy!! Or she will say how she would need to stay home if I raised my rates because all her $ goes to me anyway- mind you her daughter is a high anxiety and ADHD kid who needs tons of support and her son has an autisim diagnosis...
So frustrating and annoying! Today I told her- idk - I could never imagine being willing to cut cost on my kids-
Normally I love her and we are on the same page and desperate work and friendship well but I wish she would stop bringing this up!
