I was really going to say that I didnt understand your reasoning in your original post...but you have already explained it in this one. I guess this has more to do with your individual set-up and routine in your home. My daycare room is right off the driveway and the parents enter directly into it so it doesnt take any more time for me to send the kid out the door with their parent. If I had a basement or back playroom then I can see how this could be more of a pain and would leave the other children without your direct supervision.
