Sounds adequate to me. My daycare kids do not have free reign of the house. We have a large play area downstairs and use the dining room for art and eating. That's all they get. I block off most of the main floor and the upstairs. Also the kitchen is off limits. If I'm in the playroom, everyone is the play room. They can't choose to go upstairs without me
