I would simply not allow it.

Enforce your policies consistently. If you don't enforce them why should they follow them? If rules are not enforced, they may as well not exist.

I am not trying to give you a hard time. I am trying to make you see that by not enforcing your own policies, you are the problem, not the parents.

No need for new rules, enforce the ones you have.
