I have been there and I no longer take prek children who attend some place else. #1 It is disruptive to my day. #2 It doesn't look good for me to say I teach prek and then have a child go outside to another place. Then I am no longer a teacher...I am a babysitter.

Now I don't know your set up or rules. But when I did it, I charged the full time rate usually as they still met my full time hours even though they were gone during naps. In the end, when trying to plan a rate remember they are still in your headcount when there. And if you can fill with a child at regular rate, why would you offer someone less. And I agree with Blackcat. I don't alter my schedule for them. If they have to eat before my lunchtime, mom better be packing....if they miss something I am doing cause they have to go, then they miss it. I wouldn't alter my schedule. JMO
