Dorman (he's an ethnomusicologist), and his children's folk group is called The Little Blue Globe Band. I use Toddler World TV to teach my kids basic shapes, colors, etc. Check out The Flower Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBoHLbIicxY) -- it combines a lullaby with learning. Excellent. Another good youtube channel is Kidstv123. Lots of great content and original compositions. There are other channels, too. Make sure you scan the content first to make sure it's good for kids!
AWESOME recommendations!!! All of my kids LOVE LOVE toddler world tv!!!!!

I stream it from my iPad and they ask every day to watch a different video. Awesome for a rainy day. I have a program that will take YouTube videos and burn them onto a DVD. I make a few copies and send them home with the families. Free of course.

My special needs daycare child will stare with wonder over the flower song lol and because she's hospitalized at least once a month, her mom takes her YouTube DVD to the hospital with her to help keep her calm. Recently, she was admitted while at a doctor visit and her mom didn't have the DVD. The child CRIED literally the entire time until mom could get home to get the video.
