I tried the nicer brands but found they did not last any longer or work any better than my old GE washers/dryers.
With the amount of laundry I do, I just expect to have to replace every 3-5 years. It seems to be the norm for me (I do bedsheets twice per week and towels daily
). I usually pay about $300-$400 each new. This is the one I have now:

I just looked online and the prices seem to be almost
